This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application, Aora Relationship Coach ("Application" or "App"). Name, email address, and profile information you voluntarily provide during account setup.
2.2 User Content
Text, chat inputs, and messages you provide to the AI Coach.
2.3 Automatically Collected Information
Device type, operating system, unique identifiers, and usage patterns (time spent, features used).
2.4 AI Processing Data (Mandatory Disclosure)
To provide conversational relationship coaching, we use third-party Artificial Intelligence (AI) services, specifically Google Gemini (Google) and GPT (OpenAI). Your chat inputs are transmitted to these providers to generate real-time coaching responses.
How We Use Your Information
- AI Coaching: To generate personalized relationship advice based on your inputs.
- Service Delivery: To maintain and improve the App's functionality.
- Communication: To send administrative updates or respond to support inquiries.
Data Sharing & Third-Party AI
4.1 AI Service Providers
We share your chat inputs and relevant context with Google (Gemini) and OpenAI (GPT). These third parties are contractually obligated to protect your data. We do not permit these providers to use your personal data to train their general models without your separate, explicit opt-in.
4.2 Technical Service Providers
We use cloud hosting (such as AWS) to store Application data securely.
Your Rights & AI Control
- Access & Deletion: You may request access to or deletion of your personal data by emailing support@getaora.app.
- Account Deletion: You can initiate full account deletion from within the App settings as required by App Store guidelines.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard encryption (AES-256) for data in transit and at rest. While we strive for absolute security, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
Children's Privacy
The Application is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
